Fields of joy
Fields of joy is inspired by the colours and feelings of spring and summer. As soon as the weather warms up, Brisbane turns into a city of colours, with flowering trees in yellow, pinks and purple. The leafy rural suburb we live in is awash in fresh green from the new leaves of the season and my mood always lifts.
As much as I enjoy the cooler months, this feeling of renewal and warmth and in particular the bright flowers are always filling me with joy. These paintings are inspired by this feeling and I hope it translates.
