A series all using the same colour scheme and mark making methods. These works are full of warm colours, swirling together, lines crossing through and somehow they reminded me of sweet warm deserts, hence the name. I used a lot of layering and glazing to get the effect of transparency which adds depths to the paintings, being able to see some of the layers underneath.
